How do I know if the cylinder is suitable for my snowmobile?
The cylinder is suitable for almost all 800 Etec and 800 Powertek engines. Exhaust manifold attachment with M8 bolts. (Older Powertek models used M6 bolts) You can find the last six digits of the OEM part number on the casting leading to the cylinder's intake manifold.

When purchasing a new cylinder assembly from us, you must return the old cylinder to us. Returning it is very easy; simply follow these instructions.
- Check that the cylinder skirts and threads are intact.
- Verify that the cylinder is an original BRP spare part.
- Pack the cylinder in the same box and attach the return address label that came with the package to the top of the package.

How do I identify an original 800 Etec cylinder?
The easiest way to identify an original cylinder is by checking the markings on the cylinder. If you find any of the following numbers on the intake manifold casting: 413041, 413042, 623241, 623243, 6623249, and the text "Gilardoni" and "Rotax" on the side of the cylinder, you can be sure that the cylinder is original and correct.
The cylinder replaces the following original part numbers: 420413046, 420623240, 420623241, 420623242, 420623246, 420623249, 420413041, 420413042.
